BLACK MOUNTAIN STAGING AND REDESIGN
My History

Sheila grew up in Colorado. She started painting houses after graduating from High School in Evergreen. While painting, she spent a few years studying Solar Energy, Architecture, and Construction Management at Red Rocks Community College. In 1982 she met Mogens Jorgensen, a painter from Copenhagen, Denmark who was living in Evergreen . They started a business together - Jorgensen and Moran Painting. Sheila continued her education at the Colorado Institute of Art and received a degree in Interior Design in 1990.
Sheila has been working with homeowners, architects, designers, and builders for many years to help them create exciting and appealing living spaces. She is familiar with, and can recommend professional craftsman and tradespeople in the mountain area. She has a great eye is very experienced in color consultation. Her 25 years of working with home improvement make her and her clients comfortable in deciding how they can make their space work the best for them. She has always had a passion for working with design and construction.
Sheila (formerly Sheila Moran) is married to Mogens and they have a daughter, Saskia and a dog named Claude. The family now lives in Conifer. They return to Denmark often to visit Mogens relatives (and keep up with European design trends!) Sheila now volunteers at Saskia's elementary school teaching classes in art history. Together they love to travel, ski, hike, and enjoy the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
